Massage Therapy Axis Business Academy offers a 500 hour and 600 hour Massage Therapy Program. The Massage Therapy 500-Hour Program prepares students to become successful massage therapists eligible to work in a variety of therapeutic environments. The program provides in-depth training in the art and science of massage therapy. Students will gain a solid foundation in Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology and Pathology, the art and science of Swedish Massage; Business and Professional Ethics. Once licensed, graduates may find employment as massage therapists in their own private practices and in spa, medical, and hospitality facilities. The Massage Therapy 600-Hour Program prepares students to become successful massage therapists eligible to work in a variety of therapeutic environments. The program provides in-depth training in the art and science of massage therapy. Students will gain a solid foundation in Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology and Pathology, the art and science of Swedish massage, Business and Professional Ethics. Students also develop their ability to evaluate the multiple structural and functional problems of the musculoskeletal system and to base subsequent therapeutic choices on the evidence gained by diligent assessment. Once licensed, graduates may find employment as massage therapists in their own private practices and in spa, medical, and hospitality facilities.
